![]() All details are taken care of and whatever team is in charge of planning the show is on the ball - major props to them. The entire operation was very impressive from start to finish. One set of parents had their kid wearing ear proctors - at the kid's request. I would have been in pain if I were not wearing earplugs. ![]() I recommend bringing earplugs if your hearing is sensitive. An unforgettable battle for the ages is waiting for you to arrive. Yes - you have to eat it with your hands but they do have napkins if you need them. Inside our 11th century-style Castles, Medieval Spain will come to life before your eyes. The story was fun and the actors were dressed in elaborate garb - fun times all around! The food was surprisingly good - the chicken and potato were tasty and filling and the dessert at the end was good too. I have never been to Medieval times before and didn't quite know what to expect and I was pleasantly surprised! The show was outstanding and featured some legitimately impressive skills - jousters were jumping and rolling off of horses, a hawk flew around the arena, and the gladiator-style battles even featured swords that occasionally sparked as they collided. I missed the ren fair this year and by stroke of good luck, a visiting friend had secured some tickets and invited me and a few others out to see the show. If it weren't for my allergies, we would go again! Maybe Benadryl next time prior to going! They also have people walking around trying to sell souvenirs and photos and alcohol. They offer plenty of wet wipes and to go containers at the end. While they were hesitant to eat with their hands, I started to tear their chicken up for them, and they quickly took over. They were quick and efficient and it was actually really good! The kids get the same amount of food as the kids. He had to go to the bathroom and literally didn't tell me until the end because he didn't want to miss anything! The food was AMAZING and I had very low hopes for mass produced food. ON THE POSITIVE.I have NEVER seen my 9 year old sit for a dinner EVER, let alone for 2 hours. (No diet pepsi, etc), and you only get one refill. Once seated, the waiter explains everything to you. Everyone got a crown in the color of the section you are seated in, and they seat you according to your colors so you have to listen to the announcers. ![]() This process looked confusing and a long line, but it went really fast and easy. Once we got in, (you have to enter through the mall, there is no outside entrance), they had people ready to direct you were to go. We got there an hour early and literally had to circle the mall twice to find a parking spot and ended up parking across the street at a McDonalds. HOWEVER, we found a discount rate online with their website, and although it was still expensive, it was better than it could have been. The thought of eating with my hands, and not getting to pick your meal wasn't all that interesting to me, on top of the huge price tag. I was hesitant when the kids asked to go. ![]()
